KROST x TOMS
We are excited to announce our collaboration with TOMS and introduce to you the limited-edition KROST x TOMS launching this Friday, July 15th @11amEST. TOMS and KROST are two socially conscious brands that are thrilled to come together to showcase their shared values to create impact in our world. This collaboration helps support organizations like Peace First — who support young people around the world to lead social change in their communities by providing digital tools, community support, and start-up funding.
A Shared Value to Give Back
TOMS and KROST share similar values in giving back to the community through the products that we create. Since its founding in 2006, TOMS has given at least 1/3 of its profits to Grassroots Good. TOMS is focused on working with communities at the grassroots level to make a difference in the areas of mental health, access to opportunities, and gun violence prevention – all of which the brands have in common.
The Limited-Edition Collection
The limited-edition KROST x TOMS features an 18-piece assortment of unisex summer apparel in our basic styles like the Sammy Tee, Cameron Shorts, Charlie Tank, and Dylan Biker Shorts; in addition to footwear, bucket hats, socks, and sunglasses in various colors like Black, Egret, and Parfait Pink. The collection introduces TOMS newest style, The Gamma, a never-before-seen design available in women's and men's for a unisex look in a custom KROST signature design. The Gamma, uniquely different from TOMS’ classic footwear includes TOMS’ asymmetrical seam and padded collar paired combined with KROST’s well-known monochromatic aesthetic and zig-zag stitch. The Gamma will be available in a neutral and black color-way and will include a new custom collaboration side label, elevated suede uppers, elastic gore, and an outsole featuring Eco-EVA in the midsole and rubber outsole, overall creating the perfect blend of chic and comfort.
"WE'RE ALL FRIENDS HERE"
The campaign photoshoot features 7 models wearing the collection apparel and accessories. The shoot highlights inclusivity and togetherness with a focus on the quote, “We’re All Friends Here,” which can be found on various items of the release. This phrase demonstrates both brand’s purpose and mission that change is created when people stand together and support one another.
Peace First
Through this new collection, the goal is to continue bringing awareness to Peace First, who helps young people (ages 13-25) create and lead projects that address injustice in their community through compassion, courage, and collaborative leadership. To date, Peace First has supported over 32,000 young people from 164 countries— leading over 12,000 projects impacting 100,000’s of people.
“With funding from TOMS and KROST, Peace First will be able to provide 200 grants to young people working on creating positive change in their communities in the United States. We believe access to resources to make a difference is a right for everyone. We also believe that young people are capable of leading social change today, not someday. Having secured funding for 200 grants not only enables us to work directly with young people on the challenges they want to address, but also ensures that we have the capacity to think about how we can best support them in finding solutions to those challenges,” Dalia Ezzat, Senior Director of Global Communications and Digital Strategy.
